four hands are better than two

It was reported to me yesterday that Maja kept taking off her pink stringless mittens at daycare. So, today I put the blue stringed mittens back in her coat! Brilliant! Problem solved — if she takes them off they won’t get lost. Pink mittens are put away.
Well, it seems I underestimated Maja’s laser vision, memory of pink mittens, and 7am willpower (‘ittens! ‘ittens! ‘ittens!). Out came the pink mittens and she willingly put them on.
