x-stitch project

So, these days in the 5 minutes of spare time I have at the end of the day, before I collapse into bed, I’ve been working on the first of four cross stitch patterns which are going to eventually decorate our family’s Christmas stockings. I bought the four patterns before Maja was born… so, about 3 years ago now.

Here’s the first one, what it’s going to look like and how far I’ve gotten, in 3 years:

Obviously I have a ways to go. The other four ornaments are in red, green, and blue. The problem is that the only time I have to work on these things is just before going to bed, when I’m tired. It’s hard to do detailed work when you’re tired!!! Well, I’ll set a goal of having at least 1 of these patterns done by Christmas. ha ha
