Regardless, I’m very excited that my kickboard and pull float/buoy arrived yesterday. I can finally do my full workout at the pool — and that makes Katia very happy. It explains the stupid love-grin that I’ve had on my face all morning. I started swimming again last week, but due to the lack of gear I was only able to do half of my normal workout. Actually, that’s not quite true — on Tuesday I scavenged around the baby pool area and found a beaten up child-sized kickboard that no one was using and took that into the lap pool with me to do my kicking lengths. I was desperate — taking toys from the kiddie pool must be sinking to a new low. I returned it.
