And as further clarification: KATIA had to entertain all 3 kids in the minivan. On her birthday. There and back. It was great fun.

As a note of clarification, EVERYONE went to the festival(3 adults and 3 kids in a phllycarshare minivan). Maja enjoyed the sheep and the storytellers. She fed Angora Goats some Animal crackers(though there were no goat crackers, just other more exotic animals). The highlight for me was the food. It is always important to understand what the specialty food is at an event like this. So I observed the various vendors and where the lines of people were the longest. It was clear that the lamb burger was the favorite....they were right. So I guess that means we went full circle on the sheep thing. baaa.

I like sheep and I think sheeps are good company for a birthday.
Do you know "Glennkill" by Leonie Swann? A very nice sheep crime.
Greetings from sunny Frankfurt!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

I love border collies. They are fascinating dogs. I had wanted to get one until I read how energetic they are. They really need a small flock of sheep to herd or a marathon to run. I'm a bit lazy. I don't think it would have worked well.

It sounds like a great way to spend your birthday. My birthday is 3 days after Christmas and there are no wool or sheep festivals at that time of year. I'm glad you had a nice time, poop and all.
