why????

Maja has started the phase of the “WHY?” conversation. Here is a sample:

M: why are they tearing that building down?

K: probably because they don’t like it.

M: don’t like it? why they don’t like it?

K: because it was ugly.

M: ugly? why it was ugly?

K: maybe they didn’t like the colour.

M: didn’t like the colour? why they didn’t like the colour?

K: because it was dirty.

M: dirty? why it was dirty?

K: because the air is full of pollutants and that made the building dirty.

M: pollutants? why the air is full of pollutants?

K: because we drive cars.

M: cars? why we drive cars?

K: to get places.

M: to get places? why we get places?

….. you can see that these “why?” conversations really have no end. We had one yesterday in the car that lasted at least 20 minutes. I now know why mothers say: Go ask your father!! WHY? Because he can then also enjoy the torture.
