spinning

Yesterday I received in the mail my spinning kit that I ordered from Nistock Farms. Packaged up in a basket there is 8 oz. of roving (4 different colours), a bottom whorl drop spindle, and instructions. Being the kind of gal I am and since I already had a mini-spinning lesson from my friend Elyn, I dove right in and started spinning — instructions be damned! I don’t need no instructions. I just need to spin!
This is what I got after 20 min. of spinning. It’s not very even, but I think it’s pretty good for my first solo attempt at spinning:

Stumble It!

I’d say it looks like you’re a natural - ahh that takes me back my first drop spindled yarn was v. similar - It won’t be long before you’ll be wishing you could still do those fancy novelty yarns that you could do when you started! Good luck with your Spinning.
